Mayurbhanj BJP MP Engineer Bishweswar Tudu recently met Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and raised different issues pertaining to railway development in the district.
He took up issues like construction of new Bangriposi-Gorumahisani railway line to link Rupsa-Bangriposi line with Tata-Badampahar line and running of a daily Baripada-Puri Night Express. Tudu explained to Goyal the importance and necessity of the proposals.
Mayarbhanj BJP district president Dr KC Mohapatra, vice president Paresh Mohanta and ST Morcha general secretary Sugda Murmu were present. The Railway Minister was favourable to the demands, it is learnt.
