Kejriwal, Sisodia offer prayers at ISKCON temple

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia on Saturday offered prayers at the ISKCON temple in East of Kailash area here on the occasion of Janmashtami.”Worshiped with family and Manish ji at ISKCON temple on Janmashtami. Prayed to Lord Krishna for the people of Delhi and country...,” Kejriwal tweeted.

Thousands of devotees on Saturday thronged temples in the national capital to offer prayers on the occasion of Janmashtami, the celebration of Lord Krishna’s birth.  The famous Lord Krishna temples in Delhi — Laxmi Narayan Mandir, ISKCON temple, Krishna Pranami Mandir, Hare Krishna Mandir  — were decked up for the festival.
