The Hockey India has announced that all profits from the sale of tickets of the upcoming FIH Men’s Series Finals, to be played in the Kalinga Stadium here in June, will be donated to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for utilisation in restoration works in Fani-hit areas.

Hockey India president Mohd Mushtaque Ahmad said, “Hockey India is extremely grateful to the people of Odisha for supporting the sport of hockey in such a difficult moment as well.”

“We have been immensely saddened seeing the destruction caused by Fani. To reciprocate the support showed by Odisha to hockey, we will give all the proceeds from the match ticket sales to the CMRF,” he said.
