ENT experts from across nation join 2-day workshop at Harsh Hospital

On the occasion of World Health Day, ear, nose and throat (ENT) experts from across the country attended a two days workshop at the Harsh ENT Hospital in Ghaziabad on Sunday.   Dr Brijpal Tyagi, who has been in the limelight for three consecutive years in the Limca Book of world records, is close to establishing another record for the fourth consecutive year.

Dr Tyagi announced that 100 poor patients from all over the country will be operated on Scorlace (without incision) free of cost. Through this marathon surgery, Dr. Brajpal Tyagi is in the forefront of registering his name in Guinness book of World Records. In the two-day workshop, experts from all over the country shared their therapeutic experience with junior doctors as well as tips on them. The live surgery of the 100 patients was shown to the ENT doctors and the media persons via video conference which set the record of free surgery of 100 patients in a single go without break.

Speaking to the media persons, Dr Tyagi said that in two-day’s workshop Professor Dr D S Gewal, who is known by the renowned “Facial Nerve Expert” (face specialist in the face) of the country, shared his expertise  how the vein gets out of the ear, how to keep it safe during operation.

Dr Ahilya Swamy (Chennai) preached the junior doctors how can flowing ear can be cured with the nasal bone, and how to make the curtain from the cartilage obtained by straightening the nose bone. Both such intriguing operations can be done at one time.

Dr Vetri Vel, who is a messiah of South India for ear surgery by endoscope, will share his experiences with Minimal Invasive Technique and Endoscopic ear Surgery.
