School Education Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary, while reviewing the Narmadapuram division at the Mantralaya, said that the environment in schools should be such that children take interest in studies. He said that not only in urban areas, but there is no shortage of talented students in rural areas also. Every child has talent.
There is a need to identify and give opportunities to him. Chaudhary said that all administrative officers and teachers should try to ensure that not a single child is deprived from going to school. He told the teachers to play a significant role in making the state a leading state in the field of education. The District Collector should also inspect the schools and hostels on priority basis during their visits.
Chaudhary conducted detailed and pointwise review of Enrollment, One Campus-One School, Quality and Performance of Skill Upgradation, TARL (Teaching at the Right Level), Ankur, Tarun and Umang, Wall of Fame, Annual Examination Results, Remedial Teaching, PTM, Information of Laboratories, Distribution and Use of Science-Mathematics Kits, Elementary Remedial Education (Skill Upgradation), Bridge Course, Shala Siddhi-Hamari Shala Aisi Ho, Hostel Operations, status of construction works, Youth Club, Umang Life Skill Education, Paramilitary and Police training for girls etc.
Divisional Commissioner Ravindra Mishra informed that classes for pre-medical and pre- engineering tests are being conducted in schools of Narmadapuram division. Last year, 42 students were successful in JEE and 9 students in NEET. To encourage children, photographs of successful students have also been put up in schools.
Principal Secretary Rashmi Arun Shami, Commissioner Public Instruction Jaishree Kiyawat, Director Rajya Shiksha Kendra Irene Cynthia JP besides other senior officers were present in the meeting.
