Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE) conducted Convocation Ceremony of Technical Entry Scheme Course Serial No– 31 on Saturday with military grandeur at Mhow Military Station. Lt Gen Dushyant Singh, PVSM, AVSM, Commandant Army War College graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The auspicious invocation for convocation was carried out by Lt Gen Milind N Bhurke, VSM, Commandant MCTE & Colonel Commandant, Corps of Signals.
Twenty two bright young officers passed out from MCTE as Engineering Graduates who are proven to be professionals of the highest standard and physically fit to face the challenging tasks boldly in field. The officers have gone through 4 years of engineering and rigorous military training. The TES entry is the most coveted and premier entry in Indian Army. Its officers have excelled in field areas.
The medals and trophies were awarded to the officers who excelled in academics and sports. The Chief Guest exhorted the officers to become professional soldiers and leaders of men apart from being a proficient technocrat through their contribution. Encouraging the passing-out course, Commandant MCTE advised the officers to make difference to the environment with their knowledge, commitment and dedication. Many parents and friends also joined the celebrations.
The officers now proceed to various units across the country to carry out the onerous tasks for which they have been adequately trained. The convocation ended with the National Anthem.
