To a question of Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, the Minister said out of 105 large industries, 43 are now operating fully, 47 operating partially, five are awaiting operation and 10 have been closed.
The closed industries are: Action Ispat and Power Private Limited, Deepak Steel and Power Limited, Eastern Steel and Power Limited, Jain Steel and Power Limited, Mahswary Ispat Private Limited, MSP Metallics Private Limited, Orissa Sponge Iron and Steels Limited, Rathi Steel and Power Limited, Maa Samaleswari Industries Private Limited and Orion Ispat Limited.
