The CBI has conducted searches at the office and residential premises of Chief General Manager of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), LP Padhy in an alleged corruption case relating to a private toll company.
Sources said the searches were carried out on Friday in connection with alleged irregularities in the award of toll project related to Soma Isolex Tollway Pvt Ltd in May 2009. Additionally, Padhy’s role in National Highway Development Project, Phase III and Pahalodi-Jaisalmer Project is also under the CBI scanner.
