In a significant development in the country’s architecture sector for the first time ever an Indian design company has acquired an International design firm.
CP Kukreja Architects has acquired the India arm of Chicago-based renowned design firm dbHMS. The Indian arm of dbHMS has two verticals — sustainability and Engineering designs. They have been leading the innovative engineering and green building movement in India.

The country is poised for unprecedented development in the years to come and it is important that the foundation of our work is based on sustainability and environmentally responsible design,” said Dikshu C Kukreja, Managing Principal, C P Kukreja Architects.
Kukreja Architects is designing India’s first Rail University besides the convention centers in Pragati Maidan and Dwarka for the G20 Summit in 2022.
