Farmers of Jharkhand have shown interest in sensor belt and had interaction with Guy and asked specific questions like use of sensor, benefits of sensor, life of the sensor and expenditure towards implementation of such technology in perspective of Jharkhand. Guy informed that their technology is very much useful for  bigger dairy farm size, say minimum of 50 cows and Sensor belts capture every activity of cow right from the movement, rumination, milking, and heat period through computer based data management and helps farmers to take decision on management of animal and saves lots of costs towards disease management.

Guy also said that SCR dairy is looking forward to work in Jharkhand with collaboration of Government to design customized and cheap solutions to Jharkhand Farmers.

On invitation, representatives of SCR shall visit Jharkhand and will prepare integrated solutions for dairy farmers and wanted to work for long term as Jharkhand is the hub of Cow in eastern India. Further, He informed that, their technology is very much helpful in increasing the lactation period in cow, 100% success in artificial insemination and keeping track record of each animal for best dairy management.  The delegation was taken to farmer dairy farm by SCR dairy in a village for practical exposure. This dairy farm is having herd size of 200 cows and fully automated with technological solutions. Cows were having productivity of 40 liters per day and it was also understood that cows were fed on silage only as availability of green grass or pasture is very less in Israel. Farmer is able to keep record of each cow and accordingly management is not very tedious. Approximately Rs 8 crores investment have been made to develop this farm and milk is sold to dairy companies directly and milk rate is 0.60 cents Rs  per litre.
