India International Friendship Society has selected J R Gupta, the general manager Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan Garhwal Region posted in Pauri, for the Glory of India Award.
This award would be bestowed on him at a function to be held in Bangkok on May 4. Engineer Gupta would be felicitated for his contribution in the execution of engineering projects.
The award would be handed over to him by Kom Dabbaransi, former deputy prime minister of Thailand.
India International Friendship Society gives the award as part of the Indo- Thai friendship initiatives .
In the letter and invite sent to Gupta, India International Friendship Society said that Gupta has carved his own identity by virtue of his own excellence. In the Indian context, Gupta remains proactive and instrumental in strengthening the Indo- Thai ties and boosting foreign investments in the Indian projects, thus contributing to the economic sgrowth of India.
It is pertinent to mention that India Internsational Friendship Society (IIFS) is a voluntary organisation which works to promote and forge friendship between resident and non- resident Indians by creating a congenial atmosphere of rapport and understanding about India while boosting investment in the Indian projects and contributing to the economic growth of India.
