Our Government is committed to Ram Rajya, said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while inaugurating 20 projects worth Rs 1,800 crore in Ghaziabad on Friday.
The Chief Minister inaugurated 10.3 km elevated road connection between newly developed Raj Nagar extension with UP Gate on Delhi border covering distance within 10 minutes, which normally took 30 to 45 minutes at present.
Defining Ram Rajya Yogi said, “providing homes for homeless, providing power connections to the poor, providing ration card to the persons of below poverty lines, providing security to fearful persons and serving poor persons is the Ram Rajya in true sense”.
Accusing the previous Samajwadi Party government, the chief minister said, “The previous government haphazardly launched the project without obtaining clearance from environment and railway ministries. The project could only be inaugurated after the present government got all the mandatory clearances. That is why the inauguration took almost a year”.
“To strengthen the traffic system, our government opened the grade separator for the commuters at Meerut tri-junction. Over four crore families were without power connection during the Congress-led government at the Centre. Out of this some 1.75 crore families were from UP alone. We have provided power connection to 32 lakh families under Saubhagya Yojna”, Yogi added.
The new government is committed to provide homes for 3.5 lakh families under Prime Minister Housing Scheme. Under new welfare schemes of new government 7.73 lakh families have benefitted, the CM said.
