Fake call centre identified in Gurugram

Gurugram Police on Thursday claimed to have busted a fake call centre in Gurugram which would cheat people on the pretext of providing them software help and life Insurance.

The call centre has allegedly cheated several foreign nationals among others. The illegal call centre was running in Udyog Vihar phase-2 area.

When the two accused were unable to produce any valid license for running the centre, the police arrested them. The police are also trying to find out how many people were duped and how much money was extracted from them.

The accused have been identified as Tuhin, a resident of Jharkhand, and Akshay Kumar, a resident of Sector 23 in Gurugram.
