Raipurians take pledge to make city clean, green

The Chhattisgarh Government organised a programme under Clean India Mission on Saturday at Katora Talab area in Raipur in which Chief Minister Raman Singh and BJP national president Amit Shah administered pledge to make Raipur clean and green.

Inaugurating this drive of planting 25,000 peepal saplings in Raipur city, Singh along with Shah planted saplings and praised the concept of this drive, extending warm wishes for its success.

In this programme organized in association with Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board, school children and other people pledged to make their city clean and green.

The programme was attended by State Government's Agriculture and Water Resource Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Urban Administration and Development Minister Amar Agrawal, lok Sabha MP MP Ramesh Bais, Rajya Sabha MP  Ramvichar Netam, MlA Shrichand Sundrani, other public representatives and senior administrative officials.
