A 16-year-old boy was booked for captivating and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl at Bagh Sewania area. It must be noted here that the victim was held captive for three days. However, she managed to escape and lodged a complaint on Friday.

According to the police, 14-year-old victim was assaulted during captivity for three days at a secluded place The accused and victim used to work in an under construction building and on October 23, the accused kidnapped her and took her to a secluded place where she was sexually assaulted.

The victim managed to escape on Thursday and then narrated the ordeal  to her parents  who  then lodged a complaint.

Based on the complaint , a case under Section 363,366 and 376 of the IPC was registered and police have started search for the accused.

In an another incident, Bagh Sewania police have nabbed a 24-year-old youth for sexually assaulting and exploiting an 18-year-old girl at Rajat Vihar colony.

According to the police, the victim became friends with the accused identified as Aman Haldar and when they became acquainted, accused offered the victim to visit his room at Rajat Vihar colony in the month of October this year and when the victim visited the room she was sexually assaulted and was threatened to keep mum.

It must be written here that sexual assault against girls has risen dramatically  these days in and around this area.And in all the cases, victims are known to the accused.

The victim braved to report the incident to the police and based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation, the police registered a case under relevant sections of IPC. The accused works with a private firm.
