The Jeypore Swabhiman Manch held a dharna demanding immediate execution of the projects of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Science Park and expansion of airstrip in Jeypore. Manch president Dr Gangadhar Nanda said Jeypore being the main business hub of the south Odisha and an important area in the political scenario the projects need to be executed soon.
Expansion of the airstrip is also very much essential which will benefit the locals and specially the patients who are visiting to the capital for medical treatment.
The Manch submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Collector and also a copy to MlA Tara Prasad Bahinipati.
Bahinipati visited the spot and supported the dharna and said he would also urge the Chief Minister to immediately execute the projects.
Kiran Kumar Mishra, Minoketan Das, Mahesh Babu, Digambara Gamanga, laxmikant Swain, Simanchal Swara, Krushna Chandra Sadangi and Makarand Bisoi were present.
