CM meets citizens in Jandarshan prog

Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday met a large number of social welfare organisations, delegations and individual citizens at his weekly Jandarshan programme at his official residence. Huge number of citizens from various parts of the State thronged the venue.

The Chief Minister gave instructions to the concerned departments to redress the complaints as early as possible.

A delegation of villagers from development block Saraipali district Mahasamund submitted a memorandum listing a list of development works at Raipani, Bijatipali, Palsapali, losampali and other neighbouring villages. He assured the delegation that necessary steps will be taken up to hasten the development works.

Gangabai Sonkar, a native of village Amleshwar district, Durg, requested the Chief Minister that her agricultural land had been taken over by the State Public Works Department but no land had been allotted to her instead of it.

Singh instructed the Durg District Collector to redress the grievance as soon as possible.

A group of villagers from village panchayat Umarpoti development block Abhanpur district Raipur in a memorandum requested the Chief Minister to sanction a community hall at the village. Singh directed the request to Raipur District Collector for early sanction. A delegation of villagers submitted a memorandum requesting the Chief Minister to sanction a cement road and a community hall at village panchayat Bindrawan development block Baghbahara district Mahasamund.
