Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate ‘Vikas Yatra’ of the State at Garoth of Mandsaur district on the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day on November 1.
The CM will also dedicate and lay foundation stones of various development and construction works worth over Rs 10 crore at 19 places of the State next month. Besides, he will distribute benefits of Government schemes to the beneficiaries and will undertake surprise inspections of hospitals, schools, Government offices etc. Furthermore, Chouhan will participate in Vikas Yatra programmes to be held at other places of the State too in December.
Chouhan will participate in Vikas yatra programmes to be held at Mandsaur (Garoth) on November 1, Katni on November 11, Balaghat (lanji) on November 15, Chhindwara (Chourai) and Chhatarpur (Chandla/Rajnagar) on November 16, Rewa and Shahdol (Byohari) on November 19, Khargone (Bhigangaon) and Burhanpur on November 23, Badwani (Pansemal) on November 24, Damoh (Hata), Patharia ans Sagar (Banda) on November 25 and Ratlam/Jaora beside Ujjain (Mahidpur) on November 29.
MP Vikas Yatra will be conducted continuously for two months. Cabinet Ministers, Members of the legislative Assembly and public representatives will take active part in Vikas Yatra at district and panchayat level. Benefits of various beneficiaries’ oriented schemes will be distributed in the district level programmes.
During the Vikas Yatra, benefits of various Government schemes will be distributed and members of women self-help groups, youths, members of scheduled caste and tribe community and members of other backward class communities would be apprised of various welfare schemes of the government. Furthermore, information on Bhavnatar Bhugtan Yojana and Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidhyarthi Yojana and other employment oriented programmes will be provided to the farmers and students and benefits will be distributed during the vikas yatra.
Detailed instructions have been issued by the State Government to all the heads of the Departments, Divisional Commissioners, District Collectors and to the Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayats. District Collectors have been told for preparing a calendar of Vikas Yatra’s programmes.
