Punjab’s former CM and Akali supremo Prakash Singh Badal will not be holding his scheduled bi-monthly interaction with the party workers and other schedule for October 1 and 2 in the party head office in Chandigarh in the wake of Gurdaspur lok Sabha by-elections.
“There is a change in Badal’s scheduled meeting and grievance redressal meetings with party workers following his and party workers’ preoccupations with electioneering for the parliamentary by-poll in Gurdaspur,” said Badal’s Advisor on National Affairs and Media Harcharan Bains adding that the rescheduled dates for the skipped session would be announced later.
Badal will be meeting party workers on October 15 and 16, he said.
