A 35-year-old man died after his speeding motorbike rammed into a truck at Vidhisha road under Sukhi Sewania police station area on Monday. Pillion rider got injured in the accident. 

The duo met the accident on their way to Vidisha to meet their relative late in the night on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Makhan Singh of Sehore while the injured was identified as Vikram Singh.

The deceased was undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital where he died on Monday.  The body was sent for the post-mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.

Police said the condition of the injured was reportedly critical and was undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital.

The motorbike rammed into a parked water tanker near a farm which proved fatal for the deceased.

During the probe it would be investigated that the tanker driver parked the vehicle at the road negligently and if found guilty case would be registered against him.

Meanwhile, Chhola Mandir police have booked a 35-year-old man for allegedly abetting wife to commit suicide and subjecting her to cruelty; harassed wife committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her residence in lodhi Nagar on March 30.  

The accused Narendra Kuril used to harass his wife Mamta Kuril demanding dowry and frustrated over physical and mental torture she committed suicide. During the investigation police found that the accused used to harass the deceased and after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 498 and 304 B of the IPC and have started further investigation.
