Monday, 28 November 2016 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Several prominent Islamic scholars gave speeches on the various issues of religion on Sunday in the 69th annual Alami Tablighi Ijtema (International Islamic congregation) going on  at the outskirts of Bhopal.

“The worldly life is nothing but a fizz of water, which has to end one day, the true life is in hereafter,” said Delhi University’s professor Inam on the second day of Alami Tablighi Ijtema.

Professor Inam appealed the people to leave the worldly life and start following the hereafter. He mentioned the Quran and Hadees and said that people, who have faith in religion, should be prepared for the hereafter life. People of every religion should be prepared for the hereafter.

He mentioned the problems of the people faced in the way of religion and said that If we want to learn about the life even after our death, the way of Allah could do so and we could tell others about the real life. He said we should be prepared before the death arrives and all the believers should be also prepared for the hereafter.

After the Namaz-e-Fajir, Rajasthan’s Maulana Chiraguddin told the people about the faith and belief and said, “We are misled due to the problems we face. The problems would be gone away, if we follow the order of Allah.”

Maulana Saad and Uttar Pradesh’s Maulana Miyanji Azmat have also spoken about the various concerns of the religion and faith.

Mass Prayer would be conducted on Monday, the third and concluding  day of the Ijtema after the Namaz -e- Fajir (Morning Prayer). People would pray for the happiness and peace of the world. As many as 15 lakh people from all over the globe would take part in the mass prayer.

Unlike every year, mass Nikahs (marriages) were not held at the Ijtema venue instead they were held at the nearby Gulfam Farm. Over four hundred couples tied the knot this year in Ijtema.

thousands of youths from Bhopal as well as from the other places have shown enthusiasm and joy in serving the people, who are taking part in the Ijtema. The youths are working as the volunteers along with the Ijtema committee.

Even, the volunteers are also managing the traffic in the Ijtema venue and are also serving the people by installing camps at different places. Free vehicles are available in order to make people reach at the Ijtema venue along with the tea and drinking water.

Notably, the police officials have prepared a police control room at the Ijtema venue in order to vigil the Ijtema area. The police personnel have been very active regarding the security of the Ijtema venue. IG Yogesh Choudhary, DIG Raman Singh Sikarwar, SP Arvind Saxena, ASP Rajesh Bhadouriya and ASP Shailendra Singh Chouhan are supervising the security of the venue from the Ijtema control room itself. Police officials and the volunteers of the Ijtema committee are working together regarding the security facilities of the venue.
