Nabard sanctions Rs 23.94 cr for water schemes
Chandigarh: Nabard has sanctioned a loan of Rs 23.94 crore to the Haryana government under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund for 2016-17 for rural drinking water supply cchemes in 20 villages of Hisar district. P C Chaudhri, Chief General Manager of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard), Haryana Regional Office, said that the project has been conceptualised to fulfil drinking water requirements of selected villages in Hisar district. The proposed area has been facing acute water shortage, especially the tail-end villages under the scheme, he said. It has been proposed to provide raw water for filling tanks from the nearest canals in 17 schemes, covering 20 villages of Hisar, he said.
min provides free SIMs to health supervisors
Chandigarh: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Friday said that mobile CUG sims have been provided free of cost to 590 Multipurpose Health Supervisors with a monthly talk-value of Rs 100 each. Vij said that the employee’s unions have demanded for the same which have now been met. This facility would help to connect the Multipurpose Health Supervisors which would further help in improving the healthcare facilities in the state. Besides, one other demand of union concerning pay anomaly have also been considered which would be fulfilled after the implementation of 7th Pay Commission. The Health Minister informed that medical leave would be provided to the employees engaged under National Health Mission in the state.
Pay Anomaly and Redressal Committee formed
Chandigarh: Haryana Government has constituted ‘Pay Anomaly and Redressal Committee’ for the implementation of the report of Pay Anomaly Commission under the chairmanship of G. Madhwan and Report of the Committee for implementation of recommendation of 7th Central Pay Commission. Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that Chief Minister Manohar lal has approved a proposal of Finance Department to this effect. The Minister said that Committee would also look after the new issues and demands raised by the employees in future. The committee would be headed by Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Finance Department, P. Raghavendra Rao.
Mittal handovers appointment letters to 30
Chandigarh: The Chairman of Punjab Water Resources and Development Corporation and MlA Mansa Prem Mittal on Friday gave appointment letters to the 30 persons including 21 Junior Engineers (J.E.) here at the corporation office. He said that the persons who have been given the appointment letters include 21 Junior Engineers, 5 Clerks, 2 Junior Draftsmen and 2 Sewadars. Mittal also exhorted the newly recruited employees to work with extreme dedication and zeal so as to help the state of Punjab scale further heights on developmental parameters.
CM unviels projects worth Rs 37 crore
Shimla: Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Friday dedicated and laid foundation stone of developmental projects worth Rs. 37 crore in Kandaghat area in Solan district. He announced Veterinary Dispensary at Aanji, Health Sub Centre at Kuftu and to upgrade Middle School Dadhog to High School and construction of Science Block at GSS Delgi. He announced to metal Mahi-Karola road and Chail-Jhaja via Ashwani Khud and approved drinking water scheme for Malga village. Addressing a large gathering at Kandaghat, Virbhadra Singh said that the Government was committed for development of the State and was ensuring that benefits of the welfare schemes reaches the person living at lowest ebb.
