On the occasion of National Metallurgist Day, Central Foundry Forge Plant (CFFP) BHEl, Haridwar has conducted a technical seminar on Saturday. Executive Director of CFFP, NR Edkie inaugurated the program.
In his address Edkie outlined the various initiatives by CFFP in the field of research and development, process and product development.
He also made a call to all the metallurgists to give their best contribution in the field of metallurgy, commensurate with 'Make in India' concept enabling foundries to give comprehensive interface to production activities.
On this event theme based presentations were made by Mukesh Bhardwaj, Professor from IIT Roorkee, on 'Melting of super critical steels' and MS Chalpathi, GM (Production & Marketing) Midhani, Hyderabadon the topic of 'State of art of melting techniques'.
On this occasion General Manager B Das, TK Ghosh, Rajiv Mehra, KB Subramanyam and Atul Shukla, senior officials from other units including distinguished metallurgists.
The Head of Quality (CFFP) thanked to all the participants, delegates and the chief guest.
