A section of the local residents of Miyawala, Doiwala met and demanded immediate stoppage of the construction of religious place being done by another community in the area on Saturday.
They said the district administration must step in and stop the construction, alleging that it is illegal. They slammed the district administration for harassing some youths of the area in the name of creating law and order problem. local residents led by a BJP leader Jitendra Singh Negi staged a demonstration and submitted a memorandum addressed to the district magistrate over the issue. Among those present during the demonstration were Ram Singh Rawat, Saurabh Thapliyal, Virendra Singh, Devendra Singh Panwar and Jai Singh Rana.
