In the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh achieving a milestone of enrolling 18 million new members, the crucial state executive meeting of the state BJP will be held at Ghaziabad from May 11 next. BJP President Amit Shah and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh along with several Union ministers from the state along with senior leaders are expected to participate in the two-day meet which will discuss in detail about the Mission 2017.
The party has decided to hold the state executive in the National Capital Region (NCR) just to allow the National party leaders to attend it and discuss political issues of UP. UP BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak said here on Wednesday that the meeting of the state office bearers would be held on the evening of May 10 and the state executive will meet for next two days.
Pathak said that after the party had achieved over 100 million new membership record in which UP has contributed over 18 million, all eyes would be now on the coming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh slated in 2017. The meeting will also chalk out strategy of Maha Sampark Abhiyan in which party members will go to the houses of the new members and apprise them of the policies and ideology of the party.
“The Maha Sampark Abhiyan would be a big move to aware the people about the achievement of the Narendra Modi government and explain them about the canard being spread by the opposition parties to defame the Centre over the land acquisition Act and other issues,” he said. All the district presidents, state executive members, heads of all cells and state conveners of all the frontal organisations have been invited for participation.
