Haryana Minister of State for Tourism and Transport, Karan Dev Kamboj on Wednesday said that possibilities are being explored for construction of a new bus stand equipped with ultramodern facilities at Pipli in district Kurukshetra
Directions have been issued to prepare a proposal for construction of this new bus stand. This would provide better traveling services to domestic and foreign tourists visiting Kurukshetra, he said
He said that Pipli is an important place located between Chandigarh and Delhi road where large number of passengers visits. Apart from this, Kurukshetra is a world famous tourist place, having a large number of tourists’ inflow. Proper transportation facility would be provided alongwith arrangement of hygienic food items to tourists, he added.
Kamboj said that Tourism Department have been directed to prepare a proposal for construction of tourist spots at Indri and Narwana so as to benefit the tourists traveling from Adi Badri, the place of origin of Saraswati River to Delhi via Karnal. In Narwana, there is a proposal to set up a tourist spot at Sirsa branch.
