Due to short height, I had to struggle a lot in the industry. But the fact is if you will not struggle, you will not have the real taste of success,” says a renowned television and Bollywood actor, lilliput Faruqui.

lilliput has gained his popularity from shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh and movies like Bunty aur Babli. lilliput also appeared in reality shows and various interactions till now. He was in Bhopal city on Monday to interact with the students of Capstone Academy.

Also he gave some tips and advice to the students regarding direction and acting in films. It was a part of the 10-day-long workshop on direction and acting organised by Capstone Academy.

While talking to the mediapersons on Monday, lilliput shared his experiences in the film and television industry. Moreover, while interacting with the students, he talked about the aspects of acting to be looked into while working with the camera.

To the mediapersons, he said, “Most of the times, I was offered comedy roles because of my height, but slowly and gradually, I made my place in the industry.”

While talking about acting and direction career, he said, “Today, the industry welcomes new talent with new opportunities. The industry is keenly looking for assistant actors and directors”. Elaborating further, he said that the students who come down to Mumbai without any professional training have to face a lot of struggle. He said it is a great opportunity for the youngsters, who are getting a formal training at a low fee.
