Jamshedpur Utilities and Services Company (JUSCO), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel, joined hands with Bill Desk to allow customers in Jamshedpur to make their monthly utility bill payments via Mobile App and Internet using Net Banking and Debit/ Credit Cards. This marks a first-of-its-kind initiative rolled out across the State of Jharkhand – one that will give customers the convenience of making monthly utility bill payments through mobile app.
Sunil Bhaskaran, vice president, corporate services, Tata Steel launched the Mobile App/ Internet-based facility. Ashish Mathur, MD, JUSCO, Mr Raghunath Pandey, President, JUSCO Shramik Union (JSU), were present. To download the App the customer needs to either go to JUSCO website i.e. www.juscoltd.com and download from the link provided on the Homepage – JUSCO Bill or Google Play Store – type JUSCO Bill to download the same in your smart phones (both Android and iOS)
Since its inception, JUSCO has always endeavored to bring out improved facilities to the customers. The objective behind this is to develop a customer centric organisation through benchmarking and adopting best practices. In 2004 JUSCO started the JUSCO Sahyog Kendra, a 24x7 Helpline Complaint Management System for all the services it provides in Jamshedpur. The second stage of improvement focused on Single Window Service Hub with initiatives like Air Conditioned Bill Payment Counter and JUSCO Grahak Seva Kendra.
