Inspector General Deepak Jyoti Ghildiyal retires

Deepak Jyoti Ghildiyal, who was Inspector General of Police (IG) (Provisioning and Modernisation) at Police headquarters retired on Tuesday.  A farewell for IPS (batch 1995) Ghildiyal was held at Police headquarters. On the occasion, State DGP BS Sidhu, DGP (Vigilance) SK Bhagat, ADGP (law and order) Anil Kumar Raturi, ADGP (intelligence/security) Ashok Kumar, IG Deepam Seth, IG (jail and training) PVK Prasad, IG (PAC) Amit Kumar Sinha, IG Sanjay Gunjyal, SSP Sadanand Shankarrav Date and other police officers were present.
The speakers lauded Ghildiyal for his contribution to the cause of policing in the State. 
 
Ghildiyal expressed his gratitude to senior police officers and police personnel for helping him to executive his duties. He was given memento on the occasion. It should be mentioned here that Ghildiyal was selected in Uttar Pradesh Provincial Police Service in 1980.  He worked as DSP in Moradabad, Bijnor, Agra, Kanpur (city), Jhansi, Ghaziabad, Badaun, Aligarh, lucknow and Muzaffarnagar. 
He acted as SP in Almora, SP (Vigilance), SP in Tehri and Udham Singh Nagar. He was given charge of DIG (Vigilance and security), DIG Nainital. Ghildiyal acted as IG training and human rights and finally retired as IG (provisioning and modernisation).
