Rotary Club, regional chairman, Sanjeev Rastogi inaugurated the e-learning project centre in a Government primary school in Tamlag of Pauri Tehsil in Pauri district on Monday. The e-learning centre was established in the primary school on the initiative of the Rotary Club Pauri as part of the unit’s CSR programme. Chief regional president Anil Bhola, former regional president Sangeeta kumar, Rotarian Anil Chawala were among those present during the inauguration.
Regional president Sanjeev Rastogi who was the chief guest stressed that the benefit of the e-learning project centre should be given all the children of the adjoining villages. The software project of e-learning has been prepared by one of the Rotarians and it includes the knowledge of all subjects from class first to 12 standard. Pauri Rotary club president Anoop Dobriyal who is professor in Garhwal Central University Pauri Campus spoke on the occasion. Block education officer S S Tomar and Kshetra Panchayat member Manmohan Singh Negi said that this e –learning project centre is a boon for the area and appealed to all the students of the area to take benefit of the learning project, claiming that this is the second such project for Uttarakhand.
