Committee formed to give new laws to help farmers : CM

With an aim to simplify revenue records so that benefits could reach farmers directly Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has formed a committee that would suggest new laws after consultation with advocates and people associated with revenue department. The committee would be headed by Additional Advocate General Raj Bahadur Singh.

Yadav said this committee will hold consultation with advocates dealing in revenue cases, advocate associations and even lekhpals to take suggestions as who to improve delivery system. “The state government wants that all revenue related cases should be solved in a transparent manner. We want that farmers should get the benefit of Government schemes because they are the real stake holders. Therefore, Government wants that all nre revenue related rules should be formulated after due consultation with people,” Chief Minister said.

Government spokesman said that suggestions have also been sought from the common man. Willing people mail their suggestions to rbsingyadav11@gmail.com or bharatyadav1507@gmail.com by May 12.
