learning materials donated to destitute students
Bhubaneswar: The Roots of Odisha Foundation on Friday donated learning materials to deserted and destitute students of The Blessing Children Home. The foundation gave blackboard, books, copies, pencil box, school uniform, to the students. Social worker Sushant sahoo, Sripati Acharya, Swapna lenka, and Panchanan Samal were present on the occasion. The Blessing Children Home’s secretary Satya Prasad Behera praised the foundation’s initiative.
Mukherjee takes over as OPGC Director
Bhubaneswar: Alok Mukherjee has taken over as the Director (Operations) of the Odisha Power Generation Corporation (OPGC) ltd. Prior to this, Mukherjee was the as Executive Director of the lanco Power limited. With a career span of more than 31 years, Mukherjee has served companies like the NTPC, Reliance Energy and ONGC Tripura Power Company ltd.
Brahma Kumaris hold workshop at airport
Bhubaneswar: The Brahma Kumaris Shipping Aviation Tourism wing organised a two-day workshop at the meeting hall of the Biju Patnaik International Airport here on Thursday and Friday. The workshop was held for the employees of AAI, CISF, airlines and others working at the airport based on management, joy of living and how to respond the situations without losing the self balance and inner peace. Brahma Kumaris Kamlesh and Vinita gave the training.
Vigilance Week observed at DAV CSpur
Bhubaneswar: Various activities like debate competition, painting and mass pledge by the staff were conducted at the DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur premises here on Driday to mark the Vigilance Awareness Week. The debate competition was organised in collaboration with the Regional Office of the National Insurance Company.
