Day temperature in the city was recorded at 32 degree Celsius which was five degree Celsius above the normal temperature, on Saturday.

The weather pattern of high day temperatures would remain present for the next couple of days. Significant change would be witnessed if the wind directions  change.

Khajuraho recorded the highest day temperature at 33.4 degree Celsius and also recorded the lowest temperature at 8 degree Celsius on Friday. Major cities recorded day temperature above 31 degree Celsius. Among the major cities Gwalior recorded the highest day temperature at 32.9 degree Celsius.

In the next 48 hours the day temperature would be witnessed around 32 degree Celsius while the night temperatures would be witnessed around 13 degree Celsius. Chambal, Indore and Ujjain divisions witnessed higher day temperatures in the past 24 hours.

The dip in the temperatures witnessed in the past few days was due to Northerly winds but later the wind direction changed to South West direction which increased the temperature and at present  the Southerly winds are witnessed raising the day temperature and the pattern would be witnessed in the next 2-3 days.

In the month of November light showers are witnessed due to Western disturbances which results in decreasing temperatures but the effect of WD has not affected the weather conditions.
