Two unidentified male bodies were recovered from four lane highway in Deoria district

Two unidentified male bodies were recovered from four lane highway in Deoria district on Sunday morning. The Rampur Karkhana police said the bodies were recovered around 1145 am on Sunday after some commuters spotted the same and informed the police about this. The police said preliminary investigations hinted that the victims were killed some where and later their bodies were dropped at the place. The police sent the bodies for post-mortem and efforts to ascertain the identity of both the victims are on.

According to a report, six masked men forced their way into a branch of Canara Bank at gunpoint last evening. They looted the cash box and then broke into the strong room. To conceal their identity the robbers damaged all CCTV cameras installed inside the bank premises and took away the hard disks with them when they left the place. The incident took place shortly before the bank was about to close for the day. A hunt had been launched in the district and neighbouring areas to nab the robbers
