In a remarkable achievement, the lIC division here achieved first position in the country in respect of growth rate of premium.
“This is no doubt a mega success of the division situated in a backward region of the country. At the same time, the staff members here are also committed to maintain a growth momentum,” said lIC senior divisional manager NC Bhatt at a Press meet here on the occasion of launching of two new policies.
Bhatt also cast light on the newly launched policies – ‘Jeevan Rakshyak’ and ‘Baristha Pension Bima Yojana.’
“Keeping in view the requirement of the people of weaker section, the ‘Jeevan Rakshyak’ policy has been designed with simplified terms and conditions. It covers person in the age group of 8-55 years with less premium,” informed Bhatt.
He further said that the responsibility of ‘Baristha Pension Bima Yojana’ for the senior citizens above 60 years of age has been entrusted with the lIC by the Government of India from the Independence Day. “This is nothing but a credit to all of us,” Bhatt said.
He requested people not to get biased by false promises made by financial or similar other institutions for high returns and ultimately lose their hard earned money as has happened in the State and all over the country. He also requested not to entertain fake phone calls in the lIC’s name.
