SP leader blames Modi for Communal Hatred

Wednesday, 31 December 2014 | Biswajeet / PNS | Lucknow

Hitting out at BJP-led NDA Government Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav said that the Narendra Modi government at the Centre was working on the agenda of the RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) for spreading communal hatred.

‘’The BJP government has failed on all the issues of development. It talked about giving employment and curtailing corruption. On both the counts it has failed. The BJP has ditched the people of the country by giving fake promises during the election campaign,’’ he said in Saifai on Tuesday. He said that the NDA government was not concerned about the welfare of the people. It is only working on the agenda fixed by the RSS and VHP to create communal enmity in the society, Yadav said. Yadav said that the PM is only talking about non-important issues.

This is done to cover up his failures. ‘’People know Centre has failed to come good. It is over seven months Modi has come to power but it is yet to highlight vision of his party. No one knows how this government will bring economic reform and take the country to the path of development,” he said.
Raising the issue of love Jehhad and conversions he blamed the NDA Government for protecting the Hindu organisations for raising these issues. The SP president said that during the winter session of the Parliament, which concluded last week, PM did not attend the House regularly and the government could not give reply to the opposition’s charges.

“This is the Prime Minister of the country who is so eloquent outside Parliament but is at loss of words in lok Sabha where he is explain why the frontal organisations of RSS are raking up communal issues,” he said. Yadav criticising the BJP’s economic policy said that it was only for the industrialists and capitalists. ‘’The farmers and the small industries were overlooked by this government and this could be dangerous for the country,’’ he said.

Terming that BJP and Congress are two sides of the same coin, he said that both the parties are neither concerned about peoples’ problem nor about the development of the country. “Due to the wrong policies of Congress and BJP, the country was moving backward,’’ he said.
