Rs 5 lakh stolen from bank branch on GT road

Thieves have stolen Rs 5 lakhs from Barkathha Bajar Branch of Bank of India, situated on GT road, last night. Police have started investigating the case but so far their hands are empty. The dog squad helped the police in recovering the gas cutter, Cylinder and other tools used in cutting the locks of the safe bolt from a nearby well.

In the morning when fourth grade staff of the bank Jitendra Kumar reached the bank he saw the broken locks of the outer grill. He informed the manager and other staffs. With police team they all entered inside then they found that the locks of the safe bolts have also been broken and Rs 5 lakhs which was kept inside was missing. The window of back side of the bank was also broken. DSP Barhi Avinash Kumar visited the site and called the dog squad from Hazaribagh. In the evening DSP said that they have found some clues and very soon we will nab the culprits.
