Poll booths' names changed in Champawat

After the approval of the Election Commission of India, names of some of the polling booths of both assembly constituencies of the Champawat district including lohaghat and Champawat have been changed.

According to the District Election Office, Champawat, in lohaghat Assembly segment, now the polling booth at the Government primary school, Nilauti, will be known as Government primary school, Josyura, while name of the polling booth at the  Government primary school, Jharsirtoli, has been changed as the Government primary school, Halduwa.

Similarly in the same Assembly seat, name of the polling booth at the Government primary school, Bhingrada, has been changed a the Government primary school, Gadyura, while the polling booth at the Government primary school, Chaurpati, will be known as the Government primary school, Chauramehta, added the officials concerned.

In this process name of the polling booth at the Government Girl Junior High School, Dharaunj (Devidhura) has been changed as the Government Girl Junior High School, Devidhura, while the polling booth at the Government  Junior High School, Timlagoonth will be known as the Government  High School, Timlagoonth in the said Assembly constituency.

The name of the polling booth at the Government Junior High School, Chherabaans has been changed as the Government High School, Chherabaans, while the polling booth at Government primary school, Khaiskande, will be known as the Government primary school, Sui in the lohaght assembly seat, added the officials concerned.

Similarly, the polling booth at the  Government primary school, Dugrabora will be known as the Government primary school, Duslekh, while the name of the polling booth at the Government primary school, Pulla, has been changed as the Government primary school, Pulhindola.

In the meanwhile, name of two polling booths in the Champawat Assembly constituencies including the Government High School, Saurai and the Government  High School, Simiyauri have been changed respectively as  Government  Junior High School, Saurai and  the Government  Junior High School, Simiyauri, added the official concerned.
