The IndianOil Day was celebrated at the Paradip Refinery Project site here on Monday with the Refinery organising various events to mark the day.
On the occasion, a blood donation camp was inaugurated by Paradip Refinery Executive Director in-Charge Ramjee Ram at the IOCl-Vivekananda Township Hospital. A total of 48 units of blood were collected. Besides, a free health check-up camp was also organised at Gandakipur Panchayat, through which a total of 250 persons were benefited and distributed with free medicines.
In the evening, a cultural programme was also held at the Paradip Refinery Officers’ Club at the township, where the executive director called upon the PDRPians to give their best for timely commissioning of the Paradip Refinery, a mega project in the country.
Notably, the IndianOil’s Paradip Refinery Project (PDRP) is planned and designed to reflect the progress and prosperity of the country. Paradip Refinery is IndianOil’s largest investment in a single project and will contribute significantly towards the growth of the company, the State as well as the country. It is the first Zero-Residue refinery in the country which will primarily produce liquefied petroleum gas, naptha, motor spirit, diesel and sulphur.
