Nitin Khosla stole the limelight as he walked away with the honours in the Usha Martin Invitational Golf Tournament that concluded at the Golmuri Golf Club here
on Sunday. Nitin tallied 70 Nett to emerge as the “Overall Winner” amongst the 75-odd golfers who teed off in pursuit of honurs. The enthusiasm of the golfers was overwhelming as they strode out with the threat of rains looming large. However with the rain god choosing to stay away until the fag end of the round and ensured that at least the golfers had a pleasant round of golf.
Pawan Singh Marwah emerged as the winner in the top handicap category (0-15) with a Nett score of 71.
The Golmuri Club Secretary Prashant Maurya ended up as the runner-up with a total of 72, pipping three others on a countback. Srikumar Menon walked away as the champion in the 16 & above handicap category with a total of 73 Nett.
