After Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had asked his ministers to speed up development schemes Uttar Pradesh Power Minister Yasir Shah inaugrated newly constructed 33/11 K.V power sub-station at Matera and Risia area in Bharaich district on Sunday.
“This power sub-station will bloster power supply and complete the Chief Minister’s project of round the clock electricity to all cities in UP by 2016” said U.P Power Minister Yasir Shah in Bahraich on Sunday.
He also added that more power sub-stations will be constructed and U P government is planning to upgrade transformers and all other power supply instruments to ensure proper electricity supply across this state.
Senior Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation limited officers were also present at this occasion. Akhilesh Yadav had issued a vision document saying that Uttar Pradesh would generate enough electricity to become power sufficient by October 2016. The cities would get 24 hour electricity while the villages would get 20 hour power supply.
