The activists of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) organised a roadshow here on Sunday. The show was organised to galvanise the party workers for the general elections. The roadshow of AAP started at 9 am from Shivaji Dharamshala in Saharanpur Chowk from where it went up to Prince Chowk, Darshanlal Chowk, Kanak Chowk, Survey Chowk, Karanpur, DAV college, Nannies bakery, Rajpur road, Clock tower, Chakrata road and ended at the election office of party’s candidate from Tehri Garhwal Anoop Nautiyal near Bindal bridge at 2 pm.
Addressing the party workers, Nautiyal said that a new change had ushered in the State of Uttarakhand with the advent of AAP. He said that the people of the State were fed-up with both the Congress and BJP as both parties gave protection to the corruption.
Nautiyal said that his party would go to the court of people in the forthcoming general elections with the issues of corruption and problems faced by the common man. He claimed that AAP would win all the lok Sabha seats of the State in the general elections.
The good turnout at the roadshow enthused party leaders. The prominents among them who attended the show were president of Uttarakhand Mahila Morcha Kamla Pant, State treasurer of AAP, Ranvir Choudhary and the leaders of the district unit of AAP.
