Rawat distributes portfolios among Cabinet ministers

Finally Chief Minister has allocated portfolio among their Cabinet colleagues on Tuesday. With this decision Cabinet Ministers, who were running unemployed, got employment. Keeping in view of enforcement of model code of conduct due to general election -2014, Chief Minister has called his Cabinet meeting at 8.30 am at Bijapur Guest House on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Harish Rawat has kept Suraj, Corruption eradication & Right to Service, Gopan, Personnel, All India Service Infrastructure related work, appointment in legal and judiciary system at State level, State Government, vigilance, estate, general administration, information, industrial development, disaster management & rehabilitation, Information Technology, Environment & Solid Waste management, Minority welfare, Border Area development; Indira Hridayesh has been given Finance, commercial tax, stamp & registration, parliamentary Affairs, entertainment tax, legal, election, census, literature, protocol, planning and higher education; Harak Singh Rawat was given Agriculture, Agriculture education, agri produce marketing, Medical education, sericulture, Sainik welfare, organic farming, rain water harvesting and land consolidation in hills; Yashpal Arya has been given Revenue and land management, Irrigation, flood control, cooperative, technical education, Rural Engineering Service, Rural road & drainage and river project between Indo Nepal;  Amrita Rawat has been given Pilgrimage management & religious fair, Tourism, Women Empowerment & Child Development, Alternate Energy, Youth Welfare and Foreign aided projects; Pritam Singh has been given Food & Civil supply, Minor Irrigation, Panchayati Raj and Backward area development; Surendra Singh Negi has been given Medical health, Family Welfare, Ayush, Unani education, science & technology, Sugar and sugarcane development and para military welfare council; Dinesh Aggrawal was given Sports, legal & Judiciary, Forest and Wild life; Harish Chandra Durgapal has been given labour, Employment, Minor & Micro Industry, Khadi & Gramodyog, Dairy Development and Industrial Training institutions; Mantri Prasad Naithani has been given school education, Adult Education, Sanskrit Education, Drinking Water & Sanitation and students welfare; Pritam Singh Panwar has been given urban development, Rajiv Gandhi Awas yojna, animal husbandry, fishery, fodder & fodder area development, civil defence & Home guard and Jail and Surendra Rakesh got transport, social welfare department, Rural pond development and Food processing.
