Unable to bear child, woman killed by husband

In two sensational incidents, a man killed his wife just as she failed to bear a child even after 12-years of their marriage in Muzaffarnagar, while in Moradabad, a man brutally killed his wife along with his 5-year-old son just as he suspected that the boy was from some other man.  

Reports said that Shamsher Ali, a native of Jansath locality of Meerut always scuffled with his wife Saira Begam (30)  as she failed to have any issue. The matter took an ugly turn when after having a tiff with his wife on Monday evening,  Shamsher Ali reportedly strangulated her to death. later to avoid police action he went ahead to bury her body in local graveyard but some neighbour informed the incident to the local police which rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The accused however,  managed to escape.

A case was registered in this regard by the police and body was sent for post-mortem examination.  In another incident reported from Moradabad, someone informed the local police that body of 30-year-old Neerja,  along with her 5-year-old son Manav aka Bittu was lying in pool of blood inside their house at Chandranagar area of Civil lines, while her husband lalit Verma was also lying in unconscious state, on Tuesday morning. The belongings were also lying scattered on the floor showing it as a loot and murder case.

 local police along with SP City, Mahendra Kumar Yadav,  rushed to the spot but they found that the husband was not having any injury and  that he also regained conscious soon after reaching hospital which raised their suspicion. The cops also found that no costly belongings were touched which also pointed that loot was not the motive behind the incident.  later the cops grilled lalit Verma who broke down and confessed of the crime. He claimed  that he suspected that his wife was not having a good character and that even his son was not from him.

lalit further disclosed that when he could not bear with the sexual advances on his wife, he finally decided to get rid of her along with his son so he hacked both to death. However, the family members of the girl denied the allegations and they claimed that Neerja and her son were killed just as they failed to meet out dowry demand. They also named lalit Verma, along with his mother Kamla, and father Ram Kumar, in their FIR. A case was registered and the husband was arrested.  Meanwhile fed-up with regular family feud over not having any son, a woman committed suicide along with her two daughters in Deoria on Tuesday. Reports said that Gudiya,  a native of Kisnupali hamlet of Rampurkharkhana in Deoria, was having regular conflict with her husband Santosh Prasad as she had no son but both daughters - Sanjana (2 years) and Ranjana (9months).

Fed up with regular conflict and after being cursed over the issue,  Gudiya locked her in the room on Tuesday morning. She sprinkle kerosene over both her daughters and later on herself and set themselves ablaze. When they started writhing in pain, some neighbour rushed and broke opened the door but it was too late till them and all the three were already brunt alive. A case was registered in this regard by the police and bodies were sent for autopsy test.
