Khatri for better co-ordination with party's frontal organisation

State Congress president Nirmal Khatri stressed up better coordination with the party's frontal organisation for a better show during the coming Parliament elections.

''There is a need for strengthening the coordination between the frontal organisations like, Youth Congress ,NSUI, Mahila Congress, Seva Dal and others during the elections,'' said UP Congress president and MP Nirmal Khatri while addressing the leaders of the frontal organisations here at the state party office on Tuesday.  Khatri who chaired the meeting of the frontal organization in the absence of  AICC general secretary and in-charge of UP, Madhusudan Mistri, who postponed his visit for the day in wake of Congress Working Committee’s meeting on Telengana issue.

Mistri will now arrive on Wednesday morning.  During the meeting the leaders of the frontal organizations alleged that the party ignored them during the elections and there is paucity of funds to run their organization on day to day basis. On the other hand some Congress leaders claimed that the frontal organisation have lost their sheen and were not affective in the present circumstances.  Khatri directed the Mahila congress leaders to set up their organisations in all the districts of the state by August 15 while the Seva Dal has been asked to hold training programmes with the assistance of the Congress MPs and  MlAs.

The NSUI has been asked to share their data base with the party and even approach the family members of the member student during the elections. He said that INTUC will be holding a big rally in lucknow on August 11 in which they have invited Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders. ''All the frontal organisations have been asked to share the zonal offices set up in 8 different places of the state if they have shortage of place or funds to work. On Wednesday Mistri and Khatri will hold first meeting with the newly appointed district and city presidents and working presidents when they will inform about the division of their works.
