BJP leader and former Union Minister Dilip Ray’s son Sandeep Ray was on Saturday arrested in connection with an attack on the Nayagarh block office on November 10, 2008. He was produced before the SDJM Court here.
The SDJM Court had issued warrant in the name of Sandeep for not attending the court proceeding during the hearing of the case. On the basis of the warrant, the Nayagarh police arrested him. He was sent to judicial custody till June 24, said the police.
