Cong demands dismissal of SP MlAs held in Goa

Saturday, 31 August 2013 | Pioneer News Service/PS | Lucknow

Congress legislature Party (ClP) leader in the State Assembly Pradeep Mathur demanded immediate dismissal of Samajwadi Party MlA held with call-girls in Goa. He claimed that the Party will raise the issue on the floor of the House during coming session as such act brought shame for the Assembly members.

Briefing the media persons here at his chamber in Vidhan Sabha, Pradeep Mathur said that he met State Assembly Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey and apprised him about the misdeed of the ruling party MlA earning a bad name of the state legislatures. ''Mere suspension from the Samajwadi

Party was not at all a punishment and he should be thrown out of the Assembly,'' Mathur asserted soon after meetingthe Speaker on Friday afternoon. ClP leader also demanded that other SP MlAs who are creating law and order problems should also be taken task off and the government should not hesitate to take any action against them or their family members. ''It seems

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is helpless and the situation in UP is just like Andher nagri Chaupat Raja, loot machi hai sabkuch khaja'' he added. He claimed that there are various power Centers in the government but still they failed to control the Party leaders and activists for indulging in unlawful activities.

Prafeep Mathur also raised the issue of floods in the State while appreciating the Food Security and land Acquisition Bills moved by the UPA-2 government in the Centre. He also alleged that spiritual guru Asaram Bapu has lost his mental balance and hence was making wild allegations against Congress leaders over his crime against a girl in his Ashram.

ClP leader also raised serious objection over demolition of Rs Saheed Bhagat Singh Dwar and Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Dwar’ in Bahraich. Rs Rs My Party MlA from Payagpur in Bahraich has constructed two grand Dwars from his MlA fund in the name of two great freedom fighters and that too after taking permission but under the pressure of local Samajwadi Party leaders that structures were demolished on Thursday which is not just highly objectionable but a clear disrespect towards the freedom fighters", he said demanding action against the officials by chief minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Meanwhile spokesman of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee (UPCCC) Dwijendra Tripathi alleged that  the Samajwadi Party government was enacting 'Dirty Picture' of its MlAs before the people. ''The act of SP MlA Jhin Babu is condemnable and people of the State are ashamed of his act along with that of Madanlal Verma, state minister

Manoj Paras, Rajaram Pandey etc. State government should act strictly against such legislators and don't try to skip the matter,'' Tripathi said in a statement here on Friday evening. He accused Akhilesh Yadav for misleading the public by just suspending three of his MlAs which including Jhin Babu along with Radheyshyam Jaiswal and Ramlal Akela. Rs Rs What is the use of just placing them under suspension from the Party when they enjoy all powers of a legislators" said Dwijendra Tripathi alleging that Akhilesh is just throwing dust on the eyes of the public to hide his failure of controlling his Party leaders but the public will teach him and his Party a lesson for involving in such immoral act.
