Akhilesh Yadav will further make cabinet expansion on Friday with strong speculation that the move was made to re-induct Independent MlA from Kunda, Raghuraj Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiya.

 The oath ceremony will take place at Raj Bhawan at 10:15 am on Friday according to official communiqué.Interestingly just few days back there are strong rumours that Raja Bhaiya who was unhappy after the chief minister made delay in reinstating him in his cabinet despite of he already got a clean chit in the sensational murder of Deputy SP Zia-ul-Haq by Central Bureau on Investigation (CBI). 

He was reportedly in touch with some senior leaders of Bharatiya Janta Party and sources said that he was all set to make his joining in the saffron brigade officially. Besides Raja Bhaiya, a strong lobby of his community leaders in the Samajwadi Party were also unhappy over keeping Raja  Bhaiya in waiting list.

Sources said that realising annoyance of Raja Bhaiya and speculations that he could join BJP any time, urban development and parliamentary affairs minister Azam Khan, who was deemed to be number two in Akhilesh’s cabinet, made a surprising move when he went to Raja Bhaiya’s official residence earlier this week. Though what transpired between the two has been not confirmed officially but sources maintained that Azam pacified Raja Bhaiya and paved way for his came back in the cabinet. Sources said that soon after this, Akhilesh decided to expand his cabinet and speculations are high that Raja Bhaiya will take oath as cabinet minister on Friday.

However, Raja Bhaiya’s re-induction could once again raised controversy as though the CBI gave him clean chit in their closure report but the High Court still not accepted it. Even the slain Deputy SP Zia-un-Haq’s wife Parveen Azad, who named Raja Bhaiya in her FIR in connection with her husband’s murder had already challenged CBI’s move and the matter is still pending for decision in the High Court. Now, when Raja Bhaiya, who resigned from the cabinet after his name came in the FIR in connection with Deputy SP’s murder in Pratapgarh, would be re-inducted again even when the decision on his fate is still pending with the court would be cleared only on Friday during oath ceremony as so far no confirmed whether he will be back in Akhilesh’s cabinet or not. Akhilesh presently had 57 ministers in his cabinet. This is fourth expansion of his ministry with last took place on July 18.
