Youth are architects of Viksit Bharat 2047 vision: Speaker

Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Tuesday said that youth are the architects of the “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision. The Speaker urged students to view education as a tool for social transformation.
The Speaker is addressing the 35th Annual Day Function of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, University of Delhi, as the chief guest. He said the country’s development roadmap depends on the energy and innovation of its young population. He further adds that the youth are not just beneficiaries of a developed India but the driving force behind its transformation. “This institution is not merely a structure of bricks and stones, but a symbol of the dreams of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, who envisioned social transformation through education,” Gupta said.
The event was attended by members of the college administration, faculty, and a large number of students. During the ceremony, Gupta presented awards and certificates to meritorious students for achievements in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. Speaking on the national vision, Gupta said India is steadily moving toward becoming the world’s third-largest economy.
