Woman injured after jumping from hotel’s 3rd floor in Farsh Bazar area

A 20-year-old woman was seriously injured after she jumped from the third floor of a hotel in East Delhi’s Farsh Bazar area on Friday afternoon. The incident took place at Santosh Residency hotel on 60 Feet Road, a day before Valentine’s Day.
Shahdara Deputy Commissioner of Police Prashant Gautam said police received a call around 1 pm about a woman jumping from the hotel building. “When the police team reached the spot, it was found that a 20-year-old woman had jumped from the hotel. She had checked in with a 22-year-old man. They had an argument in the room before the incident. She is undergoing treatment in the hospital,” he said.
According to police, the woman is a resident of Sunder Nagri. The man is from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. Both had checked into the hotel earlier in the day and booked a room. Preliminary inquiry suggests that the two had a heated argument inside the room.
